The Estate

The Somerset is a luxury retirement village situated in Somerset West. It’s an elegant haven for over-50s who wish to retire in a luxurious, tranquil and secure setting where they can discover their own sense of belonging.

The Lord Somerset Clubhouse

The Lord Somerset Clubhouse is the social hub of The Somerset – a stylish, spacious entertainment area designed for social interaction and relaxation. Meet friends in the bar for a sundowner, catch up with some reading in the comfortable lounge, join the bridge club or book club, or even start a club of your own.

Polypharmacy at The Somerset

Your GP prescribes medication for your high blood pressure, your high cholesterol and something for your arthritis, and your gout and something to help you sleep at night… The cardiologist adds another couple of medications and so does your urologist. Before you know it, you are taking a handful of pills with your morning coffee! At The Somerset, Dr Greyling came to talk to us about Polypharmacy – very informative indeed!
