The Somerset is managed by CPOA (Cape Province Organisation for the Aged) on behalf of The Somerset Master Homeowners Association (MHOA). The CPOA is responsible for the administration, security and maintenance of the communal property within the village.
Trustees of the MHOA represent the various ownership associations within the village and (in the case of freehold properties) will be elected by property owners who will be eligible for re-election at each Annual General Meeting.
Levies at The Somerset are allocated by the Master Home Owners Association through a management contract with Cape Peninsula Organisation for the Aged (CPOA). Services are phased in as the village fills.
Download the full Levies Breakdown document which provides a brief overview of the levy structure at The Somerset. You will see the structure of associations in the village, and it wil explain in more detail how the different levies are applied in the estate.
