For the past two years, I have been working at The Somerset Lifestyle & Retirement Village and really love it!

The residents at The Somerset, are a special bunch of people. I have come to know them better and have thoroughly enjoyed spending time with them at various functions. Over weekends they pop in at the sales office and check on us agents with special treats like cake and cookies! It’s admirable to see how new residents adapt so quickly by forming new relationships and making new friends in the village while enjoying craft mornings and playing canasta in the afternoons.

There is always something fun happening at The Lord Somerset Clubhouse. I had the privilege of hosting a gin tasting for our residents and new clients. The ladies from L-Gin Craft Gin presented their gin and they made such beautiful drinks that nobody could resist. One of residents said she doesn’t drink gin but it looked so pretty and she felt so welcomed that she just had to try one. To view the album, click here.  In April we also hosted an olive and wine pairing that turned out to be a great success and enjoyed by all.

I am very proud to be working for an award winning developer, Westacre Property Group, who has a well-earned track record for using only clay bricks when building your home. Westacre is fully compliant to the latest South African Standard Building Regulations.

But my favourite part of our building process is watching a home that was once an idea on paper, become a reality, and seeing how my clients are so happy with the outcome.
