I started my career in the property business during the early 1990’s with Hodge and Barnard.  Peter Hodge and Steve Barnard teamed up with developer David Gant to promote and sell Erinvale Golf and Country Estate and I was fortunate to be part of the team. What an amazing development and the experience gained, is put to good use here at The Somerset.  However, there was always the allure of the wine industry and my passion for wine that took me on an exciting journey for many years until I met Okkie Potgieter again in October 2016 at Morgenster Wine Estate while having lunch.

Okkie extended an invitation to me to view The Somerset Lifestyle and Retirement Village with him. From the moment we drove through the gate I fell in love with the village and meeting the Westacre team sealed it for me.
