According to Wikipedia, a line dance is a choreographed dance in which a group of people dances along to a repeating sequence of steps while arranged in one or more lines or rows. These lines usually face all in the same direction, or less commonly face each other.
The term “modern line dance” is now used in many line dance clubs around the world to indicate dance styles that combine many genres, including pop, Latin, Irish, big band, and country.
