We are immensely proud of our extraordinary community at The Somerset! This Easter, our residents went above and beyond in a spirit of unity and kindness, and planted seeds of hope for the children of Sir Lowry’s Pass Village. Not only did they come together to celebrate, but they also organised a heartfelt Easter Egg Drive to spread joy to those in need. With sleeves rolled up and hearts wide open, they collected a staggering total of 2,124 colourful Easter eggs, which were generously donated for the children of Sir Lowry’s Pass Village. Our residents’ spirit of giving and togetherness beautifully defines our community.

The distribution of these Easter eggs was thoughtfully organised and went to various local organisations, including:

– Mienke’s Soup Kitchen – 216 eggs

– Jessica’s Soup Kitchen – 216 eggs

– Fiela’s 4 Soup Kitchens – 288 eggs

– Rachel’s Soup Kitchen – 308 eggs

– Riem Vasmaak – 180 eggs

– Charlie’s Artist Group – 164 eggs

– Yama’s Soup Kitchen – 144 eggs

– Janine’s Soup Kitchen – 80 eggs

– House of Perez – 120 eggs

– Hope and Light Nursery School – 120 eggs
