“We moved from Wierda Park, Centurion to The Somerset Lifestyle and Retirement Village at the end of October 2018, which was the best decision ever! We live in absolutely safe, luxurious circumstances. Our clubhouse looks like a five-star hotel. Our gardens and parks are laid out with the most beautiful fynbos and indigenous trees. Our views and sunsets at sea remain living paintings from day to day. Our neighbours and new friends are a bonus. We braai together in the street, take care of each other’s gardens and share food parcels if someone is sick. Our children and grandchildren love to visit us and braai together or eat delicious meals with us at the clubhouse. Our grandson of three years old enjoys visiting for a few days. He rides on his little bike safely and undisturbed through our streets. He also sometimes gets the opportunity to ride on The Somerset’s golf cart. The grandchildren who are teenagers are also happy to visit because it’s so close to the sea.
During lock-down, we weren’t as lonely and lost as many other people. We could talk to our neighbours over the wall, or enjoy a glass of wine on the garage road! Nor do we need to worry about safety gates and carrying loads of keys with us. We have a very effective security system. We live and sleep with the comfort of no worry and care. Here is a large and beautiful variety of birds in our complex because of the indigenous vegetation and dams. In the morning we wake up with birds singing and a song of gratitude in our hearts.”
We really look forward to showing the estate to you as one of the best possible locations to move to for the less paced part of your life. Please give us a call to set up an appointment, or simply pop in between 10h00 and 16h00 any day of the week.
