Dr and Mrs Wellington have been looking forward to moving to their dream retirement home at The Somerset Lifestyle and Retirement Village in Somerset West. A support system, socialization and amenities where they can embrace a new carefree lifestyle, are but a few of many advantages of life in this beautiful estate.
They chose to have a Life Right cottage built to their requirements. Cottage sizes usually range between 88m2 and 157m2 with a choice of 1 or 2 bedroom units with an open plan kitchen, living area, patio and garage. After signing their contract, excitement was building up as they were watching their dream retirement home become a reality.
Building started on the 10th of March 201 and on the 31st of May 2021, the Life Right cottage was completed. Pictured here, a glorious day when the keys were handed over to Dr and Mrs Wellington by Westacre’s Managing Director – Dion Potgieter, and members of staff.

Many people asked what is involved in the building process? Our Estate Manager – Nick Paul (pictured on the left) captured the building process on the following photographs that he took every 7/10 days.
